Training on capacity and rights of people with disabilities

On August 29-30, 2018, ACDC coordinated with ChildFund Management in Na Ri district, Bac Kan province to organize a training course on capacity and rights of people with disabilities. This is part of the project "Promoting Community Inclusion for People with Disabilities: We Can" sponsored by Childfund in Cao Bang and Bac Kan. The training was organized with the participation of Na Ri district representatives, including representatives from the Na Ri district Social and Health Department, Na Ri district health center, Na Ri district project team and representative of the Na Ri district. Health workers, representatives of the Women's Union / Farmer's Association / Youth Union of 6 communes (Quang Phong, Xuan Duong, Duong Son, Cu Le, Huu Thac, Dong Xa) project desk.

The training provided a correct understanding of people with disabilities and analyzed the barriers that prevent people with disabilities from integrating into the community, the basic principles for inclusive disability development, and providing solutions to help people with disabilities. People with disabilities are better integrated into the community in the future. In addition, participants are provided with current legislation on the rights of persons with disabilities in the field of social protection, health and employment.

Through the practice, the lecturers turned dry theories into tales, games that were extremely attractive. Instructors are skillful in integrating different teaching methods so that communication is not too boring or boring.
