Training series of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and related policies

From July 28 to August 13, 1818, the ACDC co-ordinated with the Associations of People with Disabilities in Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Vung Tau and Can Tho to organize Joint United Nations Convention on the rights of people with disabilities and policies related to people with disabilities in Vietnam. Trainers of the training courses are the core members of the PWDs who participated in the training of Resource Trainers organized by the ACDC Center. This is an opportunity for resource trainers to practice and practice information sharing skills, facilitation skills and teamwork skills.

Hosts training courses including the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; Disability Classification and Social Protection Policy for Persons with Disabilities; Access to public works, transportation and information of persons with disabilities; 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and policies related to the rights of people with disabilities in Viet Nam.

After 5 trainings, the group of trainers has raised the awareness of about 150 members of PWD as well as local people with disabilities on policies related to the rights of people with disabilities, as well as the guidance of people. to implement procedures to enjoy policies in accordance with the law.

This is a series of training sessions in the joint program between "RightsNow! Vietnam: Building Strong Communities by Promoting the Implementation of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" by MIUSA and the Project "Monitoring the Implementation of the Convention CBM of the CBM jointly funded.
