History of operation in Vietnam

Oxfam was first introduced in Vietnam in 1955 with humanitarian relief. After some other support in this area, since the late 1980s, Oxfam began developing development projects to contribute to poverty reduction.

We work together with communities, governments, civil society and non-governmental organizations to promote equity, human development and economic prosperity by bringing about change. on economic and social policies.

Change the structure of Oxfam's operations

Oxfam is changing its operations in more than 90 countries around the world, and Vietnam is one of the first countries to apply this change structure. Since July 2011, Oxfam in Vietnam has merged with a common operational strategy and under the management of a Board of Directors.

Oxfam's internal structural change and global strategy is intended to have a greater impact on poverty reduction and the fight for equality.
