Adaptation - Shaping a Future

Looking forward to celebrating the 24th anniversary of Vietnamese Day of Persons with disabilities (April 18), with the funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the leading of the National Action Centre for Toxic Chemicals and Environmental Treatment – Owner of the project “Improving the life quality of persons with disabilities in provinces heavily sprayed with Agent Orange in Vietnam”, the Vietnam Federation on Disability (VFD) in collaboration with the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) and the Centre for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP) celebrated The Vietnamese Day of Persons with Disabilities (April 18) with the theme “Adaptation - Shaping a Future”. The event was lived on the morning of April 15, 2022, via Zoom platform and also took place offline in Hanoi.

The theme of International Women’s Day 2022 has been announced by the United Nations (UN) as “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” with the aim of recognizing the contributions made by women and girls around the world, those who are working at the forefront of adapting, reducing and responding to climate change, in order to build a more stable future for everyone.
