On June 8th, 2023, ACDC collaborated with the Division of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Organization of Persons with Disabilities of Gio Linh district to organize a communication event on the topic of Independent Living and policies related to persons with disabilities at Trung Hai commune’s People’s Committee, Gio Linh district. Ms. Hoang Thi Lan, Deputy Head of Gio Linh District's Division of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Mr. Hoang Dinh Ta, Vice Chairman of Trung Hai Commune People's Committee, and more than 40 persons with disabilities and their families attended the event.

On November 27, 2022, 2 communication sessions on children's rights for parents and carers of children with disabilities were held in Hanoi and Da Nang. The activity is organised by ACDC with the Vietnam Autism Network and the Organisation of People with Disabilities in the Ba Vi District. The communication session aims to provide participants with information on Children's Rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child 1989 and the Law on the Child 2016, Children's Rights, with a particular focus on the right to participate and the right to be protected.

On November 6, 2022, ACDC held a training course on how to operate a children's rights communication session for parents and caregivers of CWD. The activity is part of the project “Increased accountability to eliminate violence and discrimination against children with disabilities” (AVAC )implemented by ACDC under the sponsorship of Save the Children Hong Kong and the coordination of Save the Children in Vietnam.

On July 10, 2022, in Quang Nam, with the support of the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), the Red Cross and the Youth Union of Dien Ban commune coordinated to organize the Communication Event for Prevention for gender-based violence in the family with the theme "Protecting persons with disabilities in family". The event aims to promote the role of authorities at all levels, mass organizations and social organizations, promote the prevention of gender-based violence in the family, towards the protection of persons with disabilities.
