Through the media session, participants have been entitled to more rights of persons with disabilities, including the right to equally participate in social activities and other rights as prescribed by law such as the right to be elected, elections .... In addition, ways to protect your health when voting during the complicated Covid-19 epidemic have also been widely propagated and disseminated. • " This disability day celebration is very meaningful, creating opportunities for disabled siblings to meet again to understand their rights. I'm very happy." (Uncle L.V.L in Vinh Thuy, Vinh Linh district)
  • "Through this media session I am better understood: persons with disabilities like me who can't go to the polling place still have a box of extra ballots brought to the home for persons with disabilities to vote for." (Mr. H.V.T in Vinh Linh)
  • "I first participated in such a meaningful activity, knowing more about Vietnamese disability day, disability rights as well as meeting and social with people." (Ms. M.T.T.N, relatives of persons with disabilities)

The activity is part of the project "Improving the independent living status of persons with disabilities" implemented by Humanity & Inclusion Vietnam (HI) and ACDC in Quang Tri to support local persons with disabilities to improve their independent living skill
