Requirements for photography compettion the stories of the feet

1. Purpose, significance

Raising awareness of community on the importance of mobility aids (prosthesis, crutches, orthosis, wheelchairs and etc.) to the lives of people with disabilities in Vietnam.
Transmitting a message about hopes and needs of persons with disabilities to community and government.
Raising awareness and responsibilities of the society for the comprehensive inclusion of persons with disabilities

2. Contestants

Vietnamese citizen, foreigners living in Vietnam, regardless of religions, gender, age, professions.
Member of organizers, judges are not allowed to participate.

3. Theme

Submitted photos must relate to persons with disabilities and mobility aids particularly as follows:

The role of mobility aids in life, education, employment... of persons with disabilities.
Difficulties and obstacles related to mobility or mobility aids that persons with disabilities are facing.
Messages on hopes and needs of persons with disabilities and necessary accommodations to improve their lives with the assistance of mobility aids.

4. Requirements

Submitted photos must be in color or black and white taken by digital cameras, professional cameras or cellphones.
Submitted photos must contain caption (maximum of 100 words) with title, location, explanation of content
Submitted photos must be actual photos without professional photo-shop adjustments (except for brightness, contrast, size editing. Editing such as inserting, cutting, erasing and etc to modify the photos’ content will not be accepted)
Contestants must provide your full name, address, phone number and email addresses
Photos which has been published, rewarded or exhibited will not be accepted.
For each contestant can submit maximum of 05 work (single or collection)
Authors of submitted photos are responsible for any dispute on copyrights of those photos. Organizers reserve the right to withdraw results in violation of this photo competition’s requirements and copyrights.

Authors send photos to the email address chuyencuadoichan@gmail.com. All photos will be posted on the official page “Chuyện của đôi chân” (The stories of the feet). Only photos uploaded by organizers are valid.

7. Prizes

08 prizes approved by organizers, including:

01 choice of audience: 2.000.000 VND (number of likes on the official facebook page)

8. .Requirements on copyright and authenticity

Contestants are entirely responsible for copyrights and authenticity of the submitted photos.
In case of having any dispute on photos’ copyrights, organizers will terminate temporarily processing the work.
Organizers reserve all rights to publish, exhibit or print pieces for community and report to donor purposes without fees and permission of contestants.
