INITIATIVE CONTEST

DISABILITY INCLUSION AND COVID-19 ADAPTATION

  1. PURPOSE

The pandemic has been and is going to have a significant impact on the participation in social activities of persons with disabilities, as well as the monitoring role of the Organizations of Persons with Disabilities. With a lot of enthusiastic sharings and comments at the workshop on December 3, we can see that persons with disabilities have been coping with many difficulties and challenges in the context of Covid-19. Luckily, there are adaptable solutions and opportunities for their better participation. Hence, to search for more solutions promoting disability inclusion, and effectively equal participation of persons with disabilities to adapt in and after the pandemic, Action Community Development Institute (ACDC) launched the Initiative Contest “Disability Inclusion and Covid-19 Adaptation”.
