On October 9, 2026, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Director of the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) and full-time Vice President of the Vietnam Federation on Disability (VFD), attended the training programme entitled “Implementing the Plan to Strengthen the Effective Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Programme to Support Persons with Disabilities for the 2026–2030 Period”, organised by the Department of Social Assistance under the Ministry of Health in Quang Ninh Province.

On June 8th, 2023, ACDC collaborated with the Division of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Organization of Persons with Disabilities of Gio Linh district to organize a communication event on the topic of Independent Living and policies related to persons with disabilities at Trung Hai commune’s People’s Committee, Gio Linh district. Ms. Hoang Thi Lan, Deputy Head of Gio Linh District's Division of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Mr. Hoang Dinh Ta, Vice Chairman of Trung Hai Commune People's Committee, and more than 40 persons with disabilities and their families attended the event.

“We are usually busy at the workplace so we have few opportunities to visit every house of persons with disabilities for talking and counseling on their issues and demands. Participating in such activities not only helps us know more about the current living conditions of persons with disabilities, timely support them so that they can be beneficial from policies in accordance with the government regulations, but also improves our knowledge and skills for working with persons with disabilities.” said Ms. H.T.L, an official in charge of labour, invalids and social affairs in Gio Linh district after visiting local persons with disabilities.

On the morning of September 15th, 2022, Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) coordinated with the Project Management Board of “Raising voices, Creating Opportunities for persons with disabilities – Phase II” in Quang Tri province to organize the Seminar “Sharing experience in monitoring the implementation of policies related to persons with disabilities”.

From May 17-18, 2022, nearly 25 core members from nationwide organizations/groups/clubs of persons with disabilities participated in the training "Skills in writing thematic reports on the implementation of policies to support persons with disabilities" conducted by the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) on the online platform Zoom.
