ACDC organized the training workshop on improving capacity of APWD members in the Central of Vietnam on September 25th to 30th 2016. This is within the framework of the project “Monitoring the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Vietnam”. The project was sponsored by CBM.
This is the second workshop for the core group, including such contents as legislations and policies for persons with disabilities (PWD); developing PWD associations/groups; communication for PWD associations/groups. The training aimed at helping people with disabilities understand their rights and duties, methods to set up and establish teams, the usage of means, communication channels to establish good reputation for the organization as well as campaign policies for associations/groups.
After the training in the Central, ADCD continues to conduct training workshops for PWD associations/groups in the South.
