Training - Workshop on the establishment of Disable People’s Association in Quang Ngai

In June 20, 2016, ACDC in collaboration with the Department of of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs of Quang Ngai province organized “Training workshop on the process and procedure to establish Disable People’s Association” in Quang Ngai City.

The program had the presence of many persons with disabilities as well as their parents and families; and leaders from Division of Home Affairs, Division of Social Assistance, Division of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs of Quang Ngai City and from Son Tinh, Tu Nghia and Mo Duc District. This program aimed at helping relevant stakeholders had fully understanding about the way and procedures to set up Disabled People’s Association and to facilitate the establishment of Disable People’s Associations in the local area in the future. 

In June 21, 2016, “Sharing experiences workshop on the establishment of Disabled People’s Association” was organized by ACDC in Quang Ngai City. Participants of this workshop included a huge number of people with disabilities and officials from different departments of Quang Ngai province. In the workshop, all representatives had opportunities to share and discuss the current situation and the demand for establishment of Local Disable People’s Association in Quang Ngai province as well as had the chance to listen about the experience of Da Nang City in terms of establishing and developing a Disabled People’s Association.

The activities were carried out within the framework of Association Support Program with the implementing of ACDC, supported by CBM Organization in the period 2015 – 2019. In the next time, ACDC will have further support to facilitate the establishment of Disabled People’s Association in Quang Ngai province.
