Nghe An: Conference on Process and Procedures for Establishment of Provincial Association of Disabled People

On 11 August 2016, ACDC and Vinh city’s Association of Disabled People co-organized the conference “Process and procedures for the establishment of Disabled People Association” in Nghe An province. Participants of the conference included representatives from the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Department of Home Affairs of Nghe An province and representatives of disabled people from all districts across the province.

Prior to this conference, the disabled in Nghe An province had discussed needed preparation for the establishment of the Association, including paperwork and organizational structure. This had created a high sense of consensus and agreements among the disabled in the province.

At the conference, representatives from Department of Home Affairs of Nghe An province said: the Department always supported and made their best eforts to help with the procedures in order to stimulate the formation of provincial Disabled People Association. The disabled of Nghe An province will continue to complete paperwork in the future. ACDC was committed to providing technical support and to always be a partner in the formation and development of Nghe An Disabled People Association.
