Ho Chi Minh City will provide vocational training for 55.000 rural labors in the period of 2016-2020.
Office of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said that from August 8, rural labors will be provided vocational training for the period 2016-2020. After having vocational training, employment rate reaches 80% and the rate of specialized rural labors working in economic area reaches 85%, …
According to that, Ho Chi Minh City will support 6 million VND/person/vocational training for the PWDs; 3 million/person/vocational training for people who receive beneficial policy: people in/under preferential treatment policy; ethnic minorities, the poor, family who is confiscated agricultural land, commercial land, unemployed women, fisherman; 2,5 million VND/person for people in nearly poor and 2 million/person/vocational training for other rural labors.
In addition to that, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also supports food and travel fee for pre-intermediate level participants, under 3-month training will receive a beneficial policy with 30.000 VND/person/day; travel fee support with 200.000/person/vocational training if training venue is farther than 15 kilometers from residence.
The plan of vocational training will be implemented in some districts around Ho Chi Minh City: Ward 7, 16 (8 District); Ward 28 (Binh Thanh District); 9, 12, Binh Tan, Go Vap, Thu Duc District.
