On the afternoon of July 23, 2026, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Federation on Disability (VFD) convened an Extraordinary Meeting in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation. During the meeting, the Executive Committee elected Ms. Do Thi Hue as Vice President of VFD for the 2023 – 2028 term, with 91% of voting delegates in favor. The appointment marks an important step in strengthening the Federation’s leadership and enhancing its capacity to fulfill its mission in the years ahead.

After more than four decades living with the consequences of a landmine accident, Ms. Dong can now feel the changes in every step she takes. These steps not only make it easier for her to move around, but also restore her confidence and bring a sense of renewed support after many years of quiet endurance.
