From August 1 to August 6, 2025, the project “Independent living and social inclusion for persons with disabilities in Quang Tri, Vietnam” carried out activities to support persons with disabilities in Quang Tri province. These included the trial of prosthetic and orthopedic devices, conducting home-based functional rehabilitation interventions, and providing assistive devices. The activities were implemented by ACDC with funding from Green Cross Switzerland.

From July 29 to August 1, 2025, ACDC collaborated with the Quang Tri Provincial Health Department to conduct screening, rehabilitation and care assessment for more than 250 persons with disabilities across six communes: Cam Lo, Hieu Giang, Nam Cua Viet, Trieu Co, Trieu Binh, and Ai Tu.

From July 25 to July 28, 2025, the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), in collaboration with the Department of Health, Huong Thuy Medical Center, and local ward health stations in Hue City, successfully organized a medical screening examination activity for more than 200 persons with disabilities. This activity was part of the project “Improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in provinces sprayed with Agent Orange.”

From 19th April 2023 to 19th May 2023, ACDC cooperated with the Department of Health in Quang Tri province, the Provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Medical Centers of Trieu Phong, Cam Lo and Vinh Linh districts has carried out screening examination activities for persons with disabilities in 28 communes and towns.
