On the occasion of the International Day of Sign Languages 23 September, this morning, representatives of the "Love, Tito’s" program and Sheraton Hanoi West visited the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) and presented 35 million VND to ACDC to support 11 Deaf students at Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts, including scholarships and sign language interpreting service costs.

The support was provided through the “Sip For Change” campaign, with the participation of Marriott International, Serve360, JW Marriott Hanoi, Sheraton Hanoi West, Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, and Sheraton Hai Phong.
Following receipt of the funding, ACDC will coordinate with relevant partners to implement the scholarship program and sign language interpreting services for the 11 Deaf students. The initiative aims to help reduce barriers throughout their learning journey, improve access to information, and create conditions for Deaf students to participate more equally in the educational environment.

This support reflects the participating organizations’ commitment to promoting access to education and essential support services for Deaf people. Particularly, support for sign language interpreting services plays a practical role in ensuring access to information and facilitating students’ participation in learning.
