Ba Vì: Trao học bổng và xe lăn cho học sinh khuyết tật

Hướng tới năm học mới, nhằm động viên tinh thần và cổ vũ cho các em học sinh khuyết tật tự tin hơn trong môi trường giáo dục hòa nhập, sáng ngày 30/08/2019, Trung tâm ACDC phối hợp với Hội người khuyết tật huyện Ba Vì tổ chức Lễ trao học bổng và xe lăn cho học sinh khuyết tật trên địa bàn huyện, đây là hoạt động do Công ty Bảo hiểm nhân thọ Vietcombank – Cardif (VCLI) tài trợ.

Chương trình có sự tham dự của bà Nguyễn Thu Thủy – Giám đốc nhân sự, VCLI; bà Đàm Việt Hà – Phó Giám đốc Trung tâm ACDC; ông Đào Văn Tuấn – Chủ tịch Hội người khuyết tật huyện Ba Vì; ông Lâm Chí Dũng – Trưởng phòng Marketing, VCLI; cùng các học sinh khuyết tật và phụ huynh được nhận học bổng và xe lăn trong đợt này.

Tại buổi lễ, VCLI đã tiến hành trao tặng 1 xe lăn và 9 suất học bổng cho các em học sinh khuyết tật có hoàn cảnh khó khăn của huyện Ba Vì. Đây là những món quà được được vận động và ủng hộ từ tập thể và cá nhân của Công ty Bảo hiểm nhân thọ Vietcombank - Cardif trong sự kiện “Family day” (Ngày hội Gia đình) được tổ chức sáng ngày 23/06/2019.

Dự kiến, trong thời gian tới, Trung tâm ACDC và VCLI sẽ tiếp tục kết nối cùng nhau để có thêm các hoạt động trách nhiệm xã hội khác nhằm hỗ trợ các em học sinh khuyết tật nói riêng và cộng đồng người khuyết tật nói chung.

86 persons with disabilities and agent orange victims receive prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices in Hue city

On 13 – 14 August 2026, Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), in coordination with the Hue City Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans and relevant agencies, completed the provision of prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices to 86 persons with disabilities and Agent Orange victims in 11 communes and wards across Hue City. This activity followed the prosthetic and orthotic fitting and trial process conducted in July 2026. The activity was implemented under the project “Livelihood Support and Quality of Life Improvement for Persons with Disabilities and Agent Orange Victims in Hue City,” funded by Green Cross Switzerland (GCCH) through ACDC.

From "care" to "Inclusion": Key highlights of the master plan for the implementation of the program for assistance to persons with disabilities for the 2026 - 2030 period

On August 11, 2026, the Ministry of Health issued Decision No. 2559/QD-BYT on the Master Plan for the implementation of the Program for Assistance to Persons with Disabilities for the 2026–2030 period. The Plan concretizes the objectives of the Program for Assistance to Persons with Disabilities for the 2021–2030 period, while strengthening the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and relevant recommendations of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. 65 years of the agent orange disaster in Vietnam: ACDC continues to stand with agent orange victims in Hue and Quang Tri

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Agent Orange Disaster in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 – August 10, 2026), Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Director of the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), attended commemorative activities organized by the Association for Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in Hue City and Quang Tri OPD. Through these activities, ACDC continues to play an important role in mobilizing resources and coordinating with local organizations to support persons with disabilities, Agent Orange victims and their families in improving living conditions, enhancing access to essential services and promoting social inclusion.
