Đào tạo công tác xã hội cho nhân sự ACDC

Ngày 13 – 15/02/2019, Trung tâm ACDC tổ chức khóa đào tạo công tác xã hội cho nhân viên Trung tâm với chủ đề “Công tác xã hội với cá nhân” tại Hà Nội. Khóa đào tạo nhằm nâng cao kiến thức và kỹ năng cho cán bộ của ACDC về các phương pháp, kỹ năng thực hành công tác xã hội với cá nhân, tập trung vào đối tượng là người khuyết tật.

Hoạt động có sự tham gia của gần 30 học viên là cán bộ của ACDC tại Hà Nội và các văn phòng dự án thuộc các tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế, Quảng Trị, Quảng Nam. Dưới sự hướng dẫn của giảng viên, các học viên đã được tìm hiểu về phương pháp, tiến trình và các kỹ năng để tiến hành công tác xã hội cá nhân, đặc biệt là người khuyết tật. Thông qua các thảo luận nhóm, trải nghiệm sôi nổi, các học viên đã có thêm cơ hội để thực hành, đào sâu hơn về công tác xã hội với cá nhân.

Với nền tảng kiến thức và kinh nghiệm làm việc khác nhau, nhiều câu chuyện thực tế đã được chia sẻ trong suốt khóa đào tạo. Các câu chuyện giúp làm rõ hơn về lý thuyết cũng như thực tiễn liên quan đến công tác xã hội cá nhân, cụ thể là người khuyết tật.

Đây là hoạt động nằm khuôn khổ dự án “Tăng cường cơ hội và nâng cao vị thế cho người khuyết tật” do Cơ quan Phát triển Quốc tế Hoa Kỳ tài trợ để hỗ trợ Trung tâm nâng cao hiệu quả công việc cũng như phục vụ tốt hơn cho đối tượng người khuyết tật.

86 persons with disabilities and agent orange victims receive prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices in Hue city

On 13 – 14 August 2026, Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), in coordination with the Hue City Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans and relevant agencies, completed the provision of prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices to 86 persons with disabilities and Agent Orange victims in 11 communes and wards across Hue City. This activity followed the prosthetic and orthotic fitting and trial process conducted in July 2026. The activity was implemented under the project “Livelihood Support and Quality of Life Improvement for Persons with Disabilities and Agent Orange Victims in Hue City,” funded by Green Cross Switzerland (GCCH) through ACDC.

From "care" to "Inclusion": Key highlights of the master plan for the implementation of the program for assistance to persons with disabilities for the 2026 - 2030 period

On August 11, 2026, the Ministry of Health issued Decision No. 2559/QD-BYT on the Master Plan for the implementation of the Program for Assistance to Persons with Disabilities for the 2026–2030 period. The Plan concretizes the objectives of the Program for Assistance to Persons with Disabilities for the 2021–2030 period, while strengthening the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and relevant recommendations of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. 65 years of the agent orange disaster in Vietnam: ACDC continues to stand with agent orange victims in Hue and Quang Tri

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Agent Orange Disaster in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 – August 10, 2026), Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Director of the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), attended commemorative activities organized by the Association for Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in Hue City and Quang Tri OPD. Through these activities, ACDC continues to play an important role in mobilizing resources and coordinating with local organizations to support persons with disabilities, Agent Orange victims and their families in improving living conditions, enhancing access to essential services and promoting social inclusion.
