Quang Tri: Democratic flower picking contest to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the international day of persons with disabilities (03/12/1992 - 03/12/2022)v

On the morning of December 2, 2022, the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) cooperated with the Club of Women with Disabilities in Vinh Linh District to organize a meeting to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3. 2022. The event was organized in the form of a contest "Democratic flower picking contest".

International Week of Deaf People 2022 - Building Inclusive Communities for All

The International Week of Deaf People (IWDP) and the International Day of Sign Languages ​​(IDSL) are two initiatives of the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD). These two events are held annually in September and are based on the founding date of the WFD (September 23, 1951) to provide an opportunity for the Deaf to celebrate their community, language, culture and history; make the public more aware of the local deaf community; and recognize the achievements of the Deaf Community. This is also a special occasion for organizations that are related or wish to engage with the Deaf Community to build and maintain relationships with the Deaf and be recognized as an ally of the Deaf Community.

Wishbone Day 2022

Wishbone Day is celebrated on May 6th each year. This is an International Awareness Day on  Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) colloquially known as imperfect bone formation disease or brittle bone disease. Wishbone Day is a day to highlight the voices of people with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, their contributions to family and society as well as recognize the challenges of living with the disease.
