On the morning of December 2, 2022, the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) cooperated with the Club of Women with Disabilities in Vinh Linh District to organize a meeting to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3. 2022. The event was organized in the form of a contest "Democratic flower picking contest".
The contest had the participation of 45 disabled women, including 29 members from the club of women with disabilities in Vinh Linh district and 14 members from the club of women with disabilities in Vinh Thuy commune, Vinh Linh district, representatives of TOT group members for persons with disabilities in communes in the district. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Chairwoman of Vinh Linh District Women's Union attended and sent congratulatory flowers on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities to the district's disabled women's club.

The contest questionnaire consists of 50 questions with a variety of topics such as International Day of Persons with Disabilities, gender-based violence prevention, independent living for people with disabilities, good parenting skills - building a happy family, etc.

At the event, the members not only participated in the contest "Democratic Flower Picking" but also exchanged and discussed enthusiastically the contents and topics surrounding the life of persons with disabilities, the rights of persons with disabilities, laws and policies for persons with disabilities. In addition, this is also an opportunity to exchange and meet members of the Club of Women with Disabilities in Vinh Linh District with members of the Club of Women with Disabilities in Vinh Thuy Commune.
