The project aims to enhance the capacity of youth organizations, including those for youth with disabilities, promote their participation in youth activities at local, national, and international levels, foster active and sustainable youth engagement, and encourage sustainable cooperation among implementing organizations.

  • Institute for Education and Inclusion (ODTIZ - Slovenia)
  • Center for the Development of Associations for People with Disabilities and Their Families (EBAGEM - Turkey)

Duration: 18 months

Overall Objective: The project aims to strengthen the capacity of youth organizations, including those for youth with disabilities, promote their participation in youth activities at local, national, and international levels, encourage active and sustainable youth engagement, and foster sustainable collaboration among implementing organizations.

Specific Objectives:

  • Encourage active and sustainable participation of youth with disabilities in youth activities and national/international projects.
  • Provide opportunities for youth with disabilities to participate in international youth projects alongside their family members to enhance mutual understanding, strengthen family bonds, and improve the skills of youth with disabilities.
  • Raise awareness among families of youth with disabilities about the importance of national and international youth programs.
  • Support social workers in working with youth with disabilities and their families in national and international programs.
  • Enhance the capacity of youth organizations in working with youth with disabilities and their families.
  • Enable youth with disabilities to participate in all general activities and projects, not only those specifically designed for people with disabilities.
  • Shift community perceptions from “projects for people with disabilities” to “projects with people with disabilities.”
