Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC), formerly known as Action to the Community Development Center, is a Vietnamese non-governmental organization established on November 2nd, 2011. In the year of 2021, ACDC officially marks 10 years of establishment and progress. Over the past these years, ACDC has worked tirelessly and creatively to create a barrier-free society for persons with disabilities across the country.

Throughout the whole journey, our belief has been strengthened gradually with the support from our colleagues and partners. You have been there with us every step of the way, supporting  our ideas, goals, and activities. There have been various difficulties and obstacles but above all, we are grateful for the engagement, determination and trust of our partners, friends, colleagues, and persons with disabilities. Even though we have seen positive results, there are still obvious and intangible challenges to overcome.

We are proud that ACDC has become stronger over the course of 10 years in its commitment to the development of the disability community in Vietnam. Now, with the vision of "Sharing vision - Bringing empowerment” for persons with disabilities, ACDC always strives to be a pioneer in creating a better living environment for persons with disabilities in Vietnam. This will be ACDC’s motto for the next 10 years as well. We believe that our partners and the disability community will always support ACDC and our initiatives in pursuit of a common goal.

Over the next 10 years, ACDC pledges to stay true to our vision and mission. In order to better serve the community, we are always open to new ideas, explore and implement new initiatives. On behalf of ACDC, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Ministries, Departments,  Provincial People's Committees, and authorized agencies at local and national levels, organizations of and for persons with disabilities, sponsors, media agencies who have always accompanied and supported us over the past decade.

In the next period, ACDC will strive hard to spread the achievements of community development initiatives which we have been implementing. For these purposes, we always look forward to your continued support and cooperation.

Thank you and sincerely./.
