The 2024 Annual Report highlights key milestones in ACDC’s journey to accompany persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. Over the past year, ACDC has implemented a wide range of programs and projects across the country to promote inclusion, equality, and improved quality of life for persons with disabilities.
Key highlights of the report include:
Over 24,000 participants engaged in training courses, workshops, and communication activities to raise public awareness on disability issues.
Policy advocacy and contributions to various draft laws and national reports concerning the rights of persons with disabilities.
Expansion and effective operation of support models including independent living, home-based rehabilitation, legal counseling, and livelihood assistance.
Establishment and development of women with disabilities clubs, enhancing the voice and agency of persons with disabilities at the grassroots level.
Organization of Job Fairs and operation of “Sunrise Houses” – safe spaces providing essential support services for women and girls with disabilities affected by gender-based violence.
Strengthening institutional capacity, improving staff quality, and professionalizing organizational operations.
This report affirms ACDC’s commitment to “Leave no one behind” and reflects our ongoing efforts in building an inclusive society rooted in the spirit of “Sharing vision, bringing empowerment” for persons with disabilities.
