Observed annually on 13 June, International Albinism Awareness Day aims to raise public awareness, promote human rights, and advance the equal participation of persons with albinism in all aspects of society. In 2026, the United Nations marks the Day under the theme “Proudly in My Skin – Celebrating All Skin Tones” highlighting the dignity, value, and rights of persons with albinism worldwide.

On June 11th, 2026, in Dong Hoi, Quang Tri Province, the Closing Workshop of the Inclusion 1 Project was held with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of National Defense, the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, central and local government agencies, partner organizations, persons with disabilities, and beneficiary families. At the workshop, the Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee in recognition of its contributions to supporting persons with disabilities in the province.

In response to the Month of Action for Children 2026 and on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1st, the Center for Social Work and the Children's Protection Fund under the Hue City Department of Health organized the “Festival for Children in Special Circumstances 2026” in Hue City on June 3rd 2026. The event aimed to create a recreational and interactive space where children receiving care at social protection centers and child care facilities across the city could participate in activities, socialize, and showcase their talents and interests. ACDC was honored to be one of the organizations supporting the event through the provision of scholarships for children in special circumstances.
